Cant turn off recording or mute tracks in the pattern editor.... Great app one the best iOS daw apps Ive used so far please fix.

I love this app,but with the new updates I cant press the mute button nor I cant press other functions since the new update. Can you please repair. Thank you

This app wont let you delete unused tracks. You load instruments and when there is non more room, they still wont let you delete unused tracks to get more space. This app is horrible! Dont waste your time on this. You used to were able to delete tracks when you wanted to so WHY WOULD YOU GET RID OF THAT?!!! WHY?! I dont understand why the developers made that decision, such a horrible thing to change and it totally messes up the whole app. Used to be good but now I dont want to even waste my time with it.

Beatmaker was one of the first audio apps I purchased, back in the iPod Touch days. Even then, it was evident that Beatmaker was incredibly powerful, and professional music production on a mobile device was a reality (though cumbersome). With BM2 and an iPad, the possibilities became exponential. Many years later, this is still my most-used DAW for iPad. Sure, other things have better interfaces, better presets, better effects, etc. But nothing offers a feature-set and depth of programmability/customization as BM2. Its reliable and consistent - Powerful and unbiased towards particular styles or ways of thinking about music. Thus, it remains my favorite and most used app for sequencing and ... Beat making.

Ive been using this companys BeatMaker app since early on. Its one of the reasons I wouldnt part from my iPhone. Im talking full tracks that get mixed-down to ProTools &/or Logic -Sampling direct to the selected pad. - Interfaces with high-end instrument apps - Str8 up... Its my favorite and the most powerful music prod. Ive found. And yeah, Ive tried/bought most everything in the iTunes Store While everyone else claims their a full music production app... The fact that beat maker 2 has brought so much power to an app is mind blowing. I love it. I just wish that they could make it to where I could transfer beats directly into my iTunes library on my iPad without having to use drop box, and a computer.

In all honesty, its a waste of money. The sounds are boring and navigation is difficult.

The samples are pretty lackluster at best. If you did manage to make a song with the given samples, it would probably not sound very good. There is just much, much better out there than this.

Great app but the way to transfer the songs (files) needs to be more intuitive. Maybe a YouTube upload option or wifi transfer without FTP clients or a direct upload to a computer using a USB cable. Thanks!

I make better beats on this app than most people do using 400-500$ programs , the ability to sample and how easy it is is just incredible , overall am excellent app , started off using beatmaker 1 and its only gotten better since ... I also produce songs by recording using the iPhone mic ... Im on soundcloud: JJ Beatz .... Its been crashing as of lately tho, ever since I got the iPhone 6s

5 stars because this app is still the best. Been anxiously awaiting 3 for a while now. Intua team, please add Ableton Link support to version 2!

Dont be fooled by the name. BeatMaker 2 is a full featured DAW that works on iPad, iPhone & iPod Touch. Its very deep, so plan on spending some time learning all its functions. I have Cubasis, Auria, MultiTrack DAW, GarageBand & Tabletop but I keep coming back to BM2. Its the most stable DAW on iOS.

I mainly use Pro Tools, Logic, and Reason - Beatmaker 2, so far, is as close as it gets on an iPhone. Yes, most of the built in samples are uninspiring but this apps strength is FUNCTIONALITY and VERSATILITY. For instance, you can map, edit, tune and filter samples; not even Music Studio can do all that (and Music Studio is my daily go to app for MIDI and teaching). Among other things, you can even automate the faders and effects. You can easily import / export samples through Dropbox.

Been having trouble trying to sync imported and chopped samples from songs on my iPhone with the metronome at any speed. Does anyone know what I should do or does it not exist on the app?
